New Netflix releases everyone will be streaming next week

It’s been a long-running wait, and now Netflix users in the US finally have the chance to experience more of the tale of the Shelby group, who hail from the Small Heath area of Birmingham in the UK. After three years since the debut of the last series of Peaky Blinders episodes, Season 6 of the show is the most recent in a series of notable Netflix new additions. Season 6, in addition to other aspects, includes Tommy Shelby, played by the menacing and moody Cillian Murphy, being forced to recover from the ashes of the failed plot after Season 5 to murder the politician who was a fascist, Oswald Mosley.

Everything about the production is an absolute ten, and this is something that cannot be overemphasized. Writing, acting, memorable characters, and a cult antihero in the form of Tommy Shelby (plus all of the Shelby women who are as strong as nails), and the production and aesthetic values make the pre and postwar England seem so alive. Don’t even forget the epic theme song. The calm and stylish trench coats and newsboy caps worn by the Peaky Blinders wear.

Netflix new releases you’ll recognize

One of Netflix’s top creators is working on a new series that will be available on the streaming service this week, following just after the DAHMER series – the Jeffrey Dahmer Story posted some impressive global viewership numbers. This, October 5 on Wednesday, is a brand new Netflix release by Ryan Murphy, one of the creators (along with Jason Blum) behind the streaming platform’s adaptation of Stephen King’s horror novel Mr. Harrigan’s Phone.

Netflix New releases on Netflix: Mr. Harrigan’s Phone

Here’s the information you need first about The Phone of Mr. Harrigan’s Telephone (which has a limited theatrical release on September 28).

According to Netflix’s logline, “A young boy (Jaeden Martell) befriends an older, reclusive billionaire (Donald Sutherland) and finds himself able to communicate with him from the grave via the iPhone that was buried with him upon his passing.”

The film is based on Stephen King’s short story of the same title, published in his collection of short stories called When It Bleeds. The film was written and directed by John Lee Hancock and produced by Ryan Murphy, Jason Blum, and Carla Hacken.

Netflix latest releases: Entergalactic

In addition, one of the most distinctive of the most recent Netflix releases we’ve talked about here is actually streaming nowKid Cudi’s latest animated special Entergalactic, as a visual accompaniment to his album of the same name.

I have a deeper look at this fantastic show in an additional article here, but the tale short: The 90-minute show has a charming vibe and positive energy — and is made on one of the most popular stories from the book (one that, despite its age, people do not seem to become bored of). The boy is attracted to a girl. The boy is swept up head over heels and has to find a way to manage between the needs of his heart and trying to fulfill his artistic ambitions.

Netflix latest releases: Additional titles

What else will happen with the streaming giant in the next few days? Those looking for something other than new films and TV shows can get recent reality TV seasons, documentaries, new releases of documentary films, and other new releases.

Floor has become Lava (Season 3, Episode 3): Hey -you’re aware that you were waiting in anticipation to see this episode come back. It’s OK to admit that. Sincere, real Netflix shows don’t become more mind-numbingly boring like this. The floor is scorched lava. Contestants, do not take a step onto it. Explore the room around it, and you’ll be the winner—release date Today streaming.

Hasan Minhaj: The King’s Jester comedian Hasan Minhaj is back with his second Netflix stand-up comedy special filming at The Brooklyn Academy of Music. This show will feature Minhaj sharing his thoughts on fertility, fatherhood, and the right to speak freely. The release date is October 4.

Nailed It

Another of Netflix’s extensive list of reality shows returns this week as Nailed It’s Season 7. According to Netflix, “The Emmy-nominated series is back with a brand new season packed with treats and tricks in celebration of Halloween. The show features ghoulish and terrifying surprises from of our most loved Netflix shows, including Umbrella Academy, Cobra Kai along with The Witcher, the desserts are designed to be scary this year!” Release date: October 5.

Netflix new movies: Aftershock: Everest and the Nepal Earthquake

With Aftershock: Everest and the Nepal Earthquake (a mini-series slated for release on October 6) In the documentary, survivors provide their accounts, which are accompanied by shocking footage from the devastating 2015 earthquake that struck Nepal. South Asia country of Nepal.

The Trapped 13: How we got through the Thai cave

This brings us to the Netflix documentary The Trapped 13: How we escaped the Thai cave. It is scheduled to premiere on October 5.

The world was in awe this summer,” Netflix explains, “when 13 players from a junior football team from northern Thailand became stuck in a cave complex. For 17 days, they were trapped. They were eventually put under sedation and released in an incredible international rescue operation that involved over 90 divers. The documentary will present the story from the perspective of the boys as well as their teacher.

Netflix New releases on Netflix: Peaky Blinders season 6

The six-episode second Season of Peaky Blinders debuted on Netflix on June 10 on a Friday. The series begins in the form of Black Day, the title of Episode 1 (wherein we are reminded that the botched assassination attempt of Mosley resulted in the loss of Shelby, one of their family members.) The episode’s summary promises that the upcoming closing of the Prohibition period will bring Tommy back to North America.

Currently, the Shelbys must find new revenue streams when Prohibition is over. There’s also a sad note to note. The only person not on the show in Season 6, for the first time, is the actress Helen McCroy. Since the show’s premiere, she was Tommy’s loyal and beloved great aunt Polly Gray. McCroy tragically passed her death in 2021.

Netflix New releases on Netflix: First Kill

The new drama series could be a little predictable was it not because the main two characters, instead of being tasked to kill one another and also become lovers. According to Netflix’s description: “Two households, both identical in their dignity, carrying an old hatred. These enemies are two star-crossed lovers that include a vampire and the hunter for vampires.”

It’s been a long wait, but Netflix subscribers in the US finally get to enjoy more of the story of the Shelby gang from the Small Heath area of Birmingham in the UK. Three years after the release of the previous set of Peaky Blinders episodes, Season 6 of the series is among the latest batch of high-profile Netflix new releases. The new season, among other things, finds Tommy Shelby, played by the moody and menacing Cillian Murphy, forced to pick up the pieces after his failed attempt at the end of Season 5 to assassinate fascist politician Oswald Mosley.

Everything about this show is a 10, and this cannot be stressed enough. The writing, the unforgettable characters, including an iconic antihero in the form of Tommy Shelby (plus all of the Shelby women, who are tough as nails), not to mention the aesthetic and production values that make pre- and post-war England come so vibrantly alive again. And don’t get me started on the killer theme song. Or the cool-looking and fashionable trenchcoats and newsboy caps that the Peaky Blinders wear. The show is as much fun to look at as it is to get caught up in the story. Needless to say, we’ve got all the details about Season 6 below. Along with a summary of some of the other major releases hitting Netflix in the coming days.
